The first Japanese Language Contest will be organised in Zambia on 24 February 2024.

Those who are interested in participating in the contest can enter into one of the two categories - (1) Reciting of assigned texts; or (2) A free theme recitation.

In order to be eligible to participate in the contest, you must

• Be a non-native speaker of Japanese;
• Reside in Zambia; and
• Not have experience of residing in Japan for more than five years.
