Hokkaido University in collaboration with the African Center for Higher Studies in Management (CESAG) will organise a Study in Japan Fair 2023 in Senegal on 11 February 2023. The fair is supported by the Embassy of Japan in Senegal, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Senegal Office, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Ashinaga Foundation, and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

The fair will be divided into a general informatoin session and a university consultation session. The general information session will provide students from Senegal and Africa at large who are interested in studying in Japan with useful information about university application procedures, scholarship opportunities, living in Japan and career paths after graduation. There will be a panel discussion with former Senegalese students who graduated from Japanese universities, which will be followed by a Q&A session.

The university consultation session will provide participants with an opportunity to consult directly with study abroad coordinators, participating universities and organisations that provide scholarships.
