Study in Japan Educational Seminar held at Copperbelt University
The Study in Japan Educational Seminar was held at Copperbelt University in Zambia on 20 April 2023. The seminar was organised by Hokkaido University Africa Office in Lusaka in close collaboration with the Copperbelt University and the Embassy of Japan in Zambia. More than 400 people participated.
The seminar was opened by the welcome remark by Professor John Bwalya, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Copperbelt University. It was followed by the two presentations by Hokkaido University Africa Office in Lusaka - one on the general informatoin on studying in Japan, and another on the exchange programme (HUSTEP). The Embassy of Japan in Zambia then provided a presentation on MEXT scholarship, whose applicaation for this year has just been opened by the Embassy every year. A former MEXT student also shared his experience of studying Japan with the audience.
