On 20 and 21 May 2023, Study in Japan joined the Back to School Expo held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Organized by the Noosphere Affair, the Back to School Expo is an international education exhibition which brings together education organisations and institutes to interact with students and those who are keen to get more education.

In total, nearly 900 people visited the Study in Japan desk. The participants talked directly with Study in Japan coordinators and get more information on university programmes conducted in English as well as scholarship opportunities. Several participants were surprised that the tuition fees in Japan are much less expensive than in other countries, and that students can get degrees in English.
